$1,700 for an iPhone? Really?

iphone1700

I think Apple has officially gone too far.

I realize that people will still buy it, but there’s no way I could ever justify $1,700 for an iPhone. No way. I know full-fledged gaming laptops that can run Skyrim on max settings that cost less than that. I realize miniaturization costs a lot and all, but this is just going too far.

I recently bought an iPhone for myself. It cost me $150. $150, that’s it: no plans, no future payments, nothing, and it will run iOS 10 just fine. How can I justify spending 10 times more for a phone that is at best marginally better? What can the iPhone 7+ do that can possibly make it worth that much? Oh, and my phone has a headphone jack as well. Seriously, what was Apple thinking?

$1,700 for an iPhone, I never thought I’d see the day. I guess overall I just don’t see the point: get yourself a $300 phone and buy a laptop with the change, it will still cost you less than an iPhone 7 Plus.

Where do you find an iPhone for $150?

Could be a subject for future consideration: ” The smart way to buy a smart phone”

I bought an unlocked Windows Phone for $115 on Amazon.ca, took the sim card (telus pay and talk) out of my old phone and have everything I need. Really like the way the phone will sync with my laptop and desk top.
